An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Estates Department as an Apprentice Carpenter and Joiner, helping to provide first class facilities and estate services to Oakham School.

The apprentice will be enrolled on the Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship at Stamford College, with a typical completion time likely to be 27 months dependent on previous relevant experience.

The course starts in September 2023, but applicants will be considered to start work immediately allowing workplace induction & administration to take place before course commencement.

As an apprentice, you will have full workers' rights including a contract of employment, annual leave entitlement and sick pay.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, which includes 6 hours minimum attendance at Stamford College.
