REED are currently working with a growing Company who work within the Manufacturing, Construction and Engineeringsectors and are looking to appoint a Head of Compliance to their senior management team.


The role of the Group Head of Compliance provides governance for the group and its organisations and provides the policies, procedures, framework, and associated training that will ensure that the Company is working in accordance with its desired standardsand in line with legal, regulatory, and requirements which may be required by other interested parties.


You will be responsible for internal and external audits and will be responsible for the Quality, H&S and Environmental management systems.


Main duties -
Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies

Control of Documents

Evaluating the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously

Prepare or maintain and review Company Policies for Functional Authorisation

Revising procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues

Management system/s investigations

Investigation Lead

Commercial Support

Hosting Audits

Population & Maintenance of the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) (HMS & HBS)

Safe Systems of Work

Inductions


Accountable for -

  • Maintenance and development of the organisations management systems in order to meet standard or certification bodies requirements.
  • Maintenance of internal auditing to meet organisations management systems requirements.
  • Organisation of management review/s as required by the organisations management systems.
  • Maintenance of Quality, Environmental, information Security, Occupational health, safety and welfare policy, processes, & Procedures where not covered by management systems.

About you -

  • Qualification in safety, health, finance, business administration, environmental management, or related field, or equivalent
  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management
  • Certified member of professional institution/s commensurate with role
  • Hosting third party audits of both suppliers and customers
  • Research, horizon scanning and investigation techniques
  • Maintaining career & Professional Development
  • Investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Report writing & presentation
