Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our Invoice Management team.


Dealing with vendor payments, you will process up to 150 invoices per day using SAP; ensuring the effective delivery of accounts payable services from the Amey Business Service Centre.

You will be reporting into the Finance Supervisor and will need to be a proactive, organised individual comfortable with working to tight deadlines.


This is an opportunity to gain experience within a fast-moving Finance department where there are lots of prospects for progression.

This is a full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week.

We operate a hybrid working model, so you will be based at our office in Matchworks, Liverpool for 3 days per week and 2 days from home.


About the role:


  • Creating payment proposals and posting vendor payments
  • Resolution of refund queries from C&C and PTP functions
  • Creating Reports for vendor payments
  • Readying CIS Vendor payments and CIS submissions to HMRC
  • Undertake other duties as requested to support the PTP function
  • Operating to and within agreed SLAs/OLAs Liaison with business and suppliers
  • Working closely with key stakeholders e.g. Amey Procurement

What are we looking for?:


  • Experience in an Accounts Payable team is considered an advantage, but full training can be given
  • Ability to follow set process and deliver required outputs with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Customer focused, with a strong service ethic
  • Experience in the relevant SAP Modules would be an advantage
