Reed HR are supporting a London based tech company to recruit a HR Director


As the HR Director, your role is to support the business in being an attractive workplace, retain and find talent to support achieving the company's strategic goals.

This role will involve being responsible for developing and leading a people focused HRFunction that can play a pivotal role in continuing to drive the journey of change and moving the culture forward in line with the rest of the Business.

You will be part of the SLT collaborating with Global Partners.


Develop processes to support international growth across all areas of HR to include talent mapping, succession planning, recruitment, staff retention, employee engagement, attractive compensation & benefits, employee relations, performance management andtransformational change.


Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Be a partner to the business and proactively support based on needs, develop, and implement HR initiatives in line with the Business's strategy and organisational objectives
  • Develop effective recruitment and retention strategies to ensure the Business maintains access to sustainable talent pool and staff retention is maintained (incl. creative / state of the art hiring methods and compensation models. Interview senior hireswhere necessary
  • Audit the relevant HR systems across areas such as payroll, holiday management, attendance and performance management offering solutions
  • Lead the Talent & Performance Board. Map out the talent and develop a future succession plan in line with the group's succession planning
  • Create and execute a people development strategy, formulate, and install appropriate career development paths for each function, liaising with L&D to assist with training requirements
  • Introduce engagement surveys across the business to measure the effectiveness of the cultural change journey and drive the implementation of appropriate measures
  • Advise on the handling of complex employee relations matters and sensitive personnel cases, deploying high level of professional skills to achieve successful outcomes
  • Take overall responsibility for the management and development of employees within the HR function, including performance, absence, flexibility, and reliability
  • Manage the HR Department's annual budget
  • Translate key data into effective and commercially focused HR and people strategy, partnering with the Senior Leadership Team and influence on the best course of action
