Job description

An exciting opportunity is available for an Admin Support Role within our Operational Planning Team.

  • Operational Planning Team is part of Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service. It is a small, dedicated team, whose members ensure that they support the Service in delivering it Service to the community of Warwickshire by capturing risk information on premises, supporting the planning of public events taking place, and providing assurance of incidents by capturing incident learning. The Role

6 months fixed term contract

Full time 37 hours per week

  • We are looking for a high performing individual to join us. You will be an integral part of the team, supporting the team with creating site plans for risk information, facilitating meetings, capturing, and reviewing information for action logs and sharing incoming communications with colleagues within Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service.


To work in this varied and interesting environment, you must be well organised with a positive and flexible approach to workloads.

You should be able to work well as part of a team and to tight deadlines. You must also be able to prioritise your own workload and at times work on your own initiative.

  • As one of the guardians of our data systems, you need to have experience of database management. You will need a high level of computer skills and analytical skills, as well as good and accurate literacy, numeracy, and administrative skills.
  • The Operational Planning Team also support large scale incidents by setting up an Operations Room, this role will involve a significant amount of liaison with members of the team and officers. Therefore, excellent verbal communication and written skills are essential.
