Paint Prepper Operative
A vacancy has arisen for a Paint Prepper Operative in the Finishing department.

The purpose of the role is to finishing and inspect operations to part mark, mask/unmask, abrasive clean and vibration deburr to the required quality standards and in accordance with work schedules.
The Package for Paint Prepper Operative:

Working hours ( shift pattern)

Day shift:
Monday - Thursday 6:00 am to 14:00

Friday: 6:00 am to 12:00

Late shift: Monday

Thursday 13:45 to 22:00
Friday 11:45 to 16:15
Salary: £24,00032,000/yr plus

22.5% shift premium

Permanent, full time position

Areas of Responsibility:

To accurately interpret engineering drawings and work instructions/build plans so that Part Numbers, Drawing Issues, relevant ADR's, process specification and finishes can be accurately identified and applied.

Ensure that:
Required quality standards are achieved
Work is completed in accordance with required work schedules
Productivity is maintained so that the effectiveness and efficiency of the department is at the highest level.
Handle materials, goods and components carefully and comply with safety regulations and handling/processing instructions
Specific / Technical Skill for Paint Prepper Operative
Read engineering drawings
Skills in masking/unmasking and paint spraying are highly desirable
Assembly background
Use of basic hand tools
Basic understanding of measuring equipment

Knowledge & Experience required for Paint Prepper Operative:

Manufacturing/engineering background
Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and their related ADR's.
Background in H&S policies and procedures / QAI's and COSHH regulations
