About you
It is essential you have experience of accountancy reconciliation work, experience of dealing with spreadsheets and computerised financial systems. Good organisational skills are important in this role along with an ability to work accurately to deadlines. You will be AAT qualified.


About the role


This is a key role within the Accountancy Team that supports the work of the accountants in respect of budget monitoring, budget preparation and closure of the accounts and plays a critical part in ensuring the robustness of our accounting records through their reconciliation work.

Completion of government statistical returns is also a key responsibility of this role.


About the team
We are looking for someone to join the Council's Accountancy and Exchequer Service team.

The team provides comprehensive accountancy support across all the Council's services including supplier payments, banking, insurance, treasury management, management accounting and technical accounting services.

Salary:
£27,344.00-£29,439.00 per year
