1.

PURPOSE OF JOB:


The Glow Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Assistant who will play a critical role in the financial management of our company, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and that the company's financial records are up to date.

This role will involve various bookkeeping and administrative tasks to support the financial health of the business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DUTIES

Accurately record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses, into the accounting software (Xero).

Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements regularly to ensure accuracy.

Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.

Maintain and organise financial records, both physical and electronic.

Monitor accounts payable to ensure bills and vendor payments are made on time.

Manage accounts receivable, follow up on client payments, and assist with collections as needed.

Assist with the preparation of tax documents and liaise with external accountants or tax professionals as necessary.

Assist with processing employee payroll and maintain payroll records. Ensure that payroll taxes and deductions are accurately calculated and remitted.

Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, document organization, and other office tasks and assist with maintaining office supplies and inventory.
