Job Description:

Are you an experienced social worker who is passionate about the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people? Are you seeking an opportunity to drive planning and promote positive outcomes for children in a well-established team? If so, Barnsley has an exciting position available for an Independent Reviewing Officer/Child Protection Chair.

Responsibilities:

Chair Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews.
Oversee and quality assure the care planning and review process for each child.
Understand and promote the childs voice, ensuring plans are aspirational for children.
Drive high standards in planning for each child, ensuring their welfare is the primary focus.

Qualifications:

Qualification in Social Work
Registered with Social Work England.
Enhanced DBS
