TEMPORARY Customer Handler required for our growing client in Newbury, hourly rate of £13, early 1pm finish on a Friday and free parking


This is an exciting opportunity for a Customer Handler to learn and develop their customer service skills, whilst establishing and maintaining relationships.

As a Customer Handler you will enjoy the following:

  • Hourly rate of £13
  • Monday to Thursday 8:30am
  • 5pm and 1pm finish on a Friday
  • Pension scheme
  • Free Parking

As the Customer Handler your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate and timely entry of orders onto the order management system, with attention to lead times, shipping dates and quantities
  • Liaising with customers to confirm orders and keep them informed of progress as appropriate
  • Proactively inform customers of order / shipment discrepancies
  • Ensure any customer impacting issues are escalated in a timely and effective way
  • Work with other members of the supply chain function to identify issues, propose solutions and take part in projects to improve operational efficiency.
To succeed as the Customer Handler you will have:

  • Experience in handling customer relationships
  • A good working knowledge and experience of using order management systems
  • Computer literacy to a level which allows section full access to computer facility.
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good attention to detail
