Blackout Ltd are looking for a permanent
Van Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

Basic working hours 09:00 17:30, Monday to Friday (
flexibility is key)
37.5 hours working week
Salary after probation £27,000 per annum
20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE:

In possession of a Full, clean driving licence and able to drive a van
Flexible
Able to work to fixed deadlines
A Team player
Fit with the ability to lift heavy items
Willing to work overtime as required

THE ROLE ENTAILS:

Driving a van to deliver & pick up a variety of jobs as required
Vehicle loading/unloading
Drape cleaning and folding
Accurate order picking to schedule
Prompt and efficient offhire checking
Stock checks as required
General housekeeping of department
Maintain safe working practices in line with company policy
Undertake job swaps to assist other departments as necessary

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Blackout was founded in 1990 as a supplier of drapes, rigging and starcloth to the many industries and institutions that require these services including events, conference, concert, exhibition, theatre, film and television.
