About Us

  • Here at JOLT, we're on a mission to_ Accelerate the shift to zeroemissions mobility_. Electric Vehicles (EVs) will play a pivotal role in supporting a future based on renewable energy. That's why we are building a largescale network of 100% renewable powered, free, EV charging stations to make charging more convenient, fast and affordable.


JOLT is a brand new player to the UK market, with a unique and differentiated product given we are an EV charging/out-of home network.


About the role

  • We're seeking an experienced marketing and communications leader with broad marketing, communications and media/advertising sales strategy experience, to establish and lead our newly launched brand in the UK. We're looking for a business leader who can help us present our premium assets to media buyers across the UK. Local experience is a must.
This is a standalone role, reporting to the Group CEO.


Key Responsibilities

  • This person will lead the development and execution of a multilayered Marketing and Communications plan across three audience / stakeholder groups connected to the business, including:

Agency / Advertising clients (70%):


  • Act as a key advisor and supporting resource to the advertising sales team on agency pitch decks by generating dataled/creative strategies to encourage brands to utilise JOLT's 100% integrated digital outofhome advertising network, which funds free charging for EV drivers
  • Creative asset development working with external agencies and designers on briefing and developing marketing collateral including photography / videography shoots
  • Content development in line with brand guidelines and campaign strategy, including drafting PR releases and creating social media posts
  • Working with tech / platform partners to analyse consumer and audience data, contributing to impactful sales pitches and communications
  • Using your exemplary design, copywriting and presentation deck skills to support the sales team developing partner presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to develop and execute PR strategies that enhance the company's public image.

EV charging customers (20%):


  • Develop strategies to connect with / acquire EVcharging customers
  • Leverage communication channels, including digital, database, socials, and our own OOH media screens, to execute brand and acquisition marketing strategies
  • Analyse and report on consumer data to continue to evolve marketing and sales strategies

Local Authority/partners (10%):


  • Support internal team on engagement with government and partners to address sustainability objectives and EV rollout programs

About you:


  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, business or similar
  • 10+ years in B2B marketing and advertising sales strategy or related role within the UK
  • You will have the desire and willingness to roll up your sleeves and solve problems in an agile, fastpaced environment with a handson culture to get the job done
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage up and to key stakeholders
  • Experience with marketing channel execution using a variety of mediums and channels such as outofhome, digital and direct customer communications
  • You will enjoy multitasking, working with and managing a variety of consultants/contractors including external graphic designers, photographers, videographers, creative agencies and PR agencies
  • Proven ability to review and analyse data trends to inform marketing strategies
  • A passion for green energy, electrification of transport and the power of creativity
