The role:

-
Digital strategy:working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to take the lead in digital marketing strategy. To build, deliver and refine the agreed strategy, managing key internal and external relationships.

Paid media management: lead strategy and implementation of paid digital channels such as PPC, display, paid social, and affiliates. Continually analyze channel performance to discover opportunities to improve ROI.

Outbound campaign management:build sophisticated outbound campaigns with multiple touchpoints across different mediums to increase awareness.

SEO: work with team members and external agencies to improve SERP rankings. Stay current with the latest techniques, algorithm updates, and competitor movements, and propose new strategies.

Conversion rate optimization:own the conversion rate metric across the business and ensure the weekly and monthly conversion rate target is met. Track and interpret applicant behaviour, working closely with the customer success managerto test new tactics.

Marketing automation and lead nurturing:use behavioural insights to develop automated, rule-based retention marketing campaigns to reduce customer churn.

Forecasting:support the CMO with the forecasting of quarterly lead generation targets

Budget management: track marketing campaign ROI and control the allocation of marketing spend based on past performance, adjusting planned budget allocation in line with results and sales objectives.

Lead management: track lead lifecycle and conversion rates from enquiry to outcome through our loan management system.

Actionable reporting:create monthly activity reports containing suitable recommendations and a clear performance summary against key performance indicators and metrics.


Skills needed:


  • 3 years hands on experience in a similar role
  • Experience planning and optimising paid media campaigns across search and social channels.
  • High level of proficiency with managing and interpreting campaign data budgeting, reporting, analysis, troubleshooting, optimization.
  • Experience working with various CRMs, with 10,000+ contacts.
  • A passion for marketing technologies (MarTech) that's backed by expert knowledge, allowing you to contribute to technical conversations.
  • A track record of devising strategies and a creative mind to help us stay ahead of the competition.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Some experience in B2B marketing (working with SMEs is desirable).
