Role Overview


We are currently recruiting for a
Soft Services Manager to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team based at our client's site.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordination of the inhouse soft services resource and supply chain partners including service lines: cleaning, waste management, grounds, pest, window cleaning and washroom services
  • Management and coordination of all payroll submissions to central payroll team from direct reports
  • Direct management of local cleaning teams in excess of 60 employees
  • Report on a monthly basis to leadership team on contract performance
  • Maintain staff rotas and ensure recruitment is up to date
  • Implement and maintain auditing framework which will demonstrate excellent service and quality standards across the estate
  • Budget management, spend control and effective supply chain procurement strategies
  • Change management to deliver contract efficiencies and improvements where required
  • Implement new technologies which are emerging in the marketplace which will drive quality improvements
  • Development and maintenance of close working relationships with key stakeholders within Atalian Servest and customers
  • Management of the soft services staff in accordance with Company HR policies and procedures to achieve a highly effective and motivated team
  • Ensure that the team are suitably qualified, trained, and identify / implement additional learning and development requirements
  • Management of supply chain partners, ensuring that they are fully aware of the contract expectations and are delivering the services required in line with the agreed contract KPIs
  • Maintain QHSE and audit procedures to demonstrate a safe and compliant environment is being maintained at all times including robust management of COSHH data and site procedures

About You:


  • A background in operational contract cleaning with at least 5 years' industry experience in a management position
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification
  • Strong management skills and ability to communicate with a large and varied delivery team
  • Selfmotivated and enthusiastic, with good time management and leadership skills
  • A flexible attitude to working hours, which will vary with operational requirements
  • A creative thinker, with the ability to develop a solution as well as analyse the problem
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic, with good time management and leadership skills
