Description

We are looking to appoint an efficient and well organised colleague with excellent interpersonal skills and a background in education.

An adaptable person who has experience of students with complex needs.

Duties to include:

Acting as a mentor and keyworker for vulnerable students.
Liaising with colleagues and learning support mentors to assist in the progress of formal and informal qualifications
Preparing and adaptation targeted resources for use in a learning environment.
Delivering onetoone interventions for students with SEND needs.
Delivering educational material set by a teacher.

The position is well supported by a wide range of professional people in addition to teaching staff.

Experience of working with children and young adults with SEND needs would be advantageous along with a desire to promote formal learning and make it accessible for all.
