IT Support Technician


Great chance for an IT support professional to join a revolutionary business in the renewable energy sector with over 1000 employees.


The IT department is responsible for the support of 18 sites across the UK and you will be joining a team of 14 supporting users across the UK.


Top environment for tech development and progression and offers the chance to work on in demand technologies such as - Azure, Intune and M 365.


Role/Responsibilities
IT Support ensuring all incidents including near misses, hazards and accidents are reported in line with company procedures.

Ensure tickets are correctly classified and prioritised and are being processed to meet OLA

Look for improvements in how IT process tickets to improve data/reporting

Provide third line technical support to IT internal customers

Coach team in handling routine 1st and 2nd line tasks either direct or through documenting process

Escalate tickets within the support team

Projects / change

Identify opportunities for improvement and generate proposals to deliver to the senior IT team for approval

Own your allocated projects and tasks ensuring delivered to agreed time and specifications


Technology
Office 365, Exchange online

Azure / Endpoint manager / Azure AD / SharePoint administration

On Prem domain management, DNS, DHCP

Azure cloud hosting, Virtual machines
