Job Overview

The ward clerk plays a vital role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the ward under the supervision of senior colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

1. Support the administration team in recording patient information, making appointments, and responding to inquiries from families and other departments.
2. Provide day-to-day clerical assistance to facilitate the efficient running of the ward.
3. Manage patient admissions and discharges using trust software programs.
4. Answer phone calls from patients' families and other departments.
5. Maintain a caring and compassionate approach as the initial point of contact for anxious individuals.

Person Specification

• Proficient IT skills.
