MAIN DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

The role would include the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Daily plant maintenance and PPM checks on the Coating plant
  • Planning maintenance and working closely with the plant manager to have spare parts on site
  • Keeping the 10 year maintenance plan updated and relevant
  • Working with contract fitters on bigger maintenance tasks
  • Providing cover when needed on the Coating plant and Loading shovel
  • Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental Systems and reporting procedures

Skills Required:
EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a coating or similar production environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills
  • A good understanding of industry Health, Safety and Environmental standards
  • Good communication skills and teamwork are required
  • NVQ Wheeled Loader license an advantage though full training package would be given to the successful applicant
  • Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work within an extremely busy team environment
