Description
My client are currently looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to join their site on the outskirts of Glasgow (approx. 15mins from City Centre). The site is commutable from the majority of the central belt incudling Renfrewshire, Ayrshire,Falkirk,Stirling, Livingston and West Lothian.

You will be working with a successful manufacturer that has recently experienced an impressive investment and upturn in sales.

The company are well established, financial stable and have earned a reputation as an excellent employer. Their culture is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Fault finding on PLC systems
  • General electrical / mechanical maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities
  • Working closely with the process engineering and quality engineering teams
  • Supporting colleagues with project work

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A time served apprenticeship, with an electrical bias
  • Experience of electrical maintenance gained in the manufacturing sector
  • Experience of fault finding on PLC systems
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Shift pattern will be days & nights (12 hours shifts)
