Now Education are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support within an Autism Specialist School in Erdington.


We are seeking to appoint committed, hard-working, enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who are able to consistently demonstrate excellent classroom practice supporting the class teacher in meeting the individual needs of all pupils with ASC.


The role will involve working within a specific class catering for pupils with EHCP's of ASC and Associated challenging Behaviours.

We specifically require someone with the characteristics and resilience to effectively support and manage associated behaviours.


We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Is confident catering for Autism and Challenging behaviours
  • Is comfortable providing personal care if needs be
- is able to deliver learning activities with an individual child (or group of children) under the direction of a teacher

  • Is Enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • Friendly, caring, hardworking with high expectations.
  • Well qualified. Applicants MUST have GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).

This role is a full time position 8:30 - 3:30 Monday to Friday, however we are able to accept part time applicants for daily supply requirements that may only be able to commit to certain days each week in this instance.

£76.00-£90.00 per day
