We are looking for a PMO (Project Management Office) for a leading marketing and technology solutions organisation providing services to both the private and public sector with an excellent reputation in the markets they operate in, supporting their clientswith first class service, unrivalled domain expertise, innovative propositions and leading edge technological solutions.

You will be working across the Digital Solutions Division whose client list ranges BMW, Mitchells and Butlers, Police Digital Service, Ministry of Justice, Home Office, National Records of Scotland, National Air Traffic Services, and Network Rail.

What you will be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Solutions team as one of our PMOs (Project Management Office) within the Digital Development and Managed Services rapidly growing UK team.

You will be responsible for seeing that the processes run smoothly,creating plans, and ensuring that they are followed and achieved on time.

Your day-to-day duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Create project structure
  • Provide data and reports to the management
  • Effective resource planning
  • Create processes and workflows
  • Simplify communications and workflows
  • Project led training, knowledge sharing across teams
  • Month end timesheet management and project budget reporting
  • Risk Management within project delivery
  • Project Change Management
  • Creating or collating standardized project templates
  • Monitoring project progress for the Head of Projects across the department
Who you are
Passionate about technology, professional, motivated, collaborative, and continually seeking to learn and develop. Excited about the opportunity to work in a full lifecycle software business.

Should Have:

  • A university degree or equivalent
  • IT background in systems design, development, and implementation spanning 2+ years.
  • Direct experience in either managing or being part of a PMO (Project Management Office) for at least 4 years.
  • Experience in managing projects for external customers is required.
  • Experience with large system integrators and knowledge of Internet technologies is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with PRINCE2, Agile Scrum or equivalent methodologies is required
  • Risk & Issue Management experience is required
  • Scheduling experience is required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Stakeholder management experience is preferred
  • Experience in creating processes and procedures is required

- the nature of deliverables they were personally responsible for delivering
- the extent and nature of interaction with the project client
- strong analysis, project scoping, and scheduling experience
- consistent usage of formal project management methods, tools & techniques
- experience managing multi-site projects in a PMO capacity
- outstanding client, people management and coaching skills
- excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities
- ability to communicate at the senior management level
- enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlines
