  • Keeping accurate financial records for all transactions.
  • Preparing balance sheets and reports.
  • Processing invoices and following up on payment.
  • Preparing budgets and financial reports.
  • Maintaining bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets.
  • Updating and maintaining financial data in the database.
  • Performing administrative support functions as required.
  • Working closely with the accounting team to create and analyse financial reports.

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. SAP).
  • Qualifications in Business, Accounting or relevant field.
