The role:

Supports the Chief Operations Officer (Aspen Re) by ensuring the effective oversight of the Inward Proportional Treaty management and processing controls, technical reconciliation and financial reporting requirements.

Skills & experience:
Knowledge And Experience - Excellent knowledge of core (re)insurance principles, premium recognition and types of reinsurance contract structures. - Strong understanding of reinsurance cycles and procedures - Good working knowledge of business processes and company systems - Knowledge of Property, Casualty, and Specialty business classes desirable but not essential - Understanding of Proportional Treaty claim handling and event claims is desirable - Some understanding of London Market systems and procedures is desirable - Experience of (re)insurance and operations environment in a similar role - Experience of transformational/process improvement operating environments (preferable)
