Overall Purpose of the Role:

This post sits within the compliance team and works with and for the Director of Contracts & Compliance.

As an organization that values data and seeks to be evidence-based in all things, this post will involve a combination of working with data that supports company-wide activity along with supporting colleagues in a range of daily data activity.

The post holder will support the company to link all areas of data and to standardize approaches to data collection and management informed by good practice.

The post holder will ensure the integrity of the data in companies Management Information System (MIS), employing a rigorous system of checks to identify issues and will work collaboratively with other teams to help improve data quality, consistency, and accuracy across key areas.


Key Duties:

The following responsibilities pertain to the date of issue of this Job Description and may require amendment over time, by agreement between employer and employee:

  • Manage access to the company's Management Information System (MIS).
  • Preparation of data & the submission of returns to the DFE etc., including data checking exercise.
  • Provide additional MIS/data support when required.
  • Support the Director of Contracts & Compliance with data processes and recording to ensure accuracy and credibility of all datasets.
  • Support with the development of systems for collecting, verifying, and processing data.
  • Assist with any queries over the data held in our MIS systems.
  • Manage the input into and transfer of data between the various databases across the company.
  • Assist with adhoc requests for data and analysis.
  • Liaise with external bodies and support providers should you not be able to provide a solution to a problem that is being experienced and ensure a minimum 'downtime' period.
  • Import data from third party sources and ensure complete accuracy of the data is maintained.
  • Manage the input into and transfer of data between the various databases across the Trust and establishments.
  • Support the Director of Contracts & Compliance to make data practices more efficient.
  • Attend relevant training provided to keep abreast of developments in data related administration.
  • Provide support and training to Data/MIS Leads across the company in key modules in the MIS.
  • Support with auditing of the MIS and data at key checkpoints in line with key data requirements.
  • Be available in October for final return in each contract year & in January for the publication of external results. Participate and occasionally lead the Network.
  • Assist in the administration and management of company accounts including Xero.
  • Review software and make recommendations about good practice.

Up to £30,000.00 per year
