Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented functional Software Tester to join our team.

As a Software Tester, your primary responsibility will be to rigorously test and validate workflow changes developed on the LexisNexis Visualfiles Case Management System.

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the system's reliability, accuracy, and seamless operation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts specifically targeting workflow modifications.
  • Validate that workflow changes adhere to business requirements, legal compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Document test results, defects, and any deviations from expected behaviour.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and potential issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful deployment of workflow changes.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand workflow enhancements and changes.
  • Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve identified defects.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback to improve the overall user experience.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven experience as a Software Tester, preferably within the legal or case management domain.
  • Knowledge of the LexisNexis VisualFiles Case Management System and its workflow components preferable.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and working in an iterative development environment.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps preferable.
