- This role will contribute towards the goal through preparing ice cream products base flavours, under the supervision of the Dairy Supervisor, ensuring work is carried out to the highest health and safety and food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Production:
- Ensure all Production and BRC procedures are followed
- Report any Production issues to the Dairy Manager
- Pasteurise ice cream mix, following the recipes provided
- Sanitise low care area prior to production;
- Manufacture ice cream and sorbet bases following the recipes provided;
- Clean the low care area and its equipment after production, and initial the cleaning schedule
- Leave the Low Care area tidy after the day's work;
- Turn off the lights and lock up at the end of the day;
- Advise Dairy Supervisor / Dairy manager when stocks of raw materials are running low;
- Attend and contribute to weekly production meetings.
Health & Safety:
- Be aware of and comply with Health and Safety legislation and company requirements relevant to your role.
- Report any Health & Safety issues to the Dairy Manager.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all Quality Assurance procedures are followed.
- Report any Quality Assurance issues to the Dairy Manager.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£10.80-£10.90 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Winchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
