Product Manager Job in Christchurch


Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be working with a long standing client who are recruiting for a Product Manager to join their team in Christchurch.

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for tracking projects from start to finish, managing the CPA and ensure the project is on track while liaising internally with the commercial and supply chain teams.

Salary & Benefits:

- £2- 30,000 per annum with annual salary reviews

  • 25 days holiday per annum, increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service and 30 days after 5 years' service plus bank holidays

Duties & Responsibilities of the Product Manager:

  • Lead and own your product strategy with a clear vision for retail
  • Identify and drive new product development and maintain the current range
  • Ensure all projects are visible and are tracked according to CPA (Critical Path Analysis) by ensuring clear communication of projects and dates across the business
  • Manage and implement a project tracker to provide visibility of all projects and ensure projects are managed to timelines
  • Complete project management post implementation review (PIR) to ensure best practice are applied to all new projects
  • Produce exceptional presentations for our customers
  • Understand the market, product benchmarks and trends, including research, customer engagement and visiting of retail outlets
  • Build key stakeholder relationships with other key internal team members e.g., Design, Technical, Supply Chain and the senior teams
  • Engage with key customers and support commercial function in obtaining new business and enhancing current portfolio
  • Build key relationships with retailers and suppliers to aid the product strategy

Knowledge & Experience:


  • Product Manager experience, and/or product development or brand management experience
  • A willingness to learn and improve and have a 'hands on' approach
  • Confident in communicating and developing relationships with internal and external sources
  • Strong time management and a proactive work ethic
