We are seeking proactive and engaging Cover Supervisors to join schools in Stevenage.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be pivotal in maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring that students continue their learning in the absence of their regular teacher.

Responsibilities:

Supervise classes and manage behaviour during the absence of the teacher.
Distribute and explain homework assigned by the teacher.
Ensure the classroom environment remains safe and conducive to learning.
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the classroom setup.
Monitor and report on students' behavior and progress during class.
Maintain discipline according to the school's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage groups of students effectively.
Strong organisational skills and the capability to work autonomously.
A professional attitude and the aptitude to act as a role model.
Previous experience in a similar role or setting would be advantageous but not essential.
Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
