Following a recent meeting with the Partner of a prestigious Top 10 Firm, we have an exciting new opportunity available for an individual at Director level or a strong Senior Manager who is looking for a step up to Director.

The firm are developing a new team in Reading to cover the Thames Valley area and as a result require a Director to assist in building the client base and creating the culture for the new office.

Your role as an Audit Director:

Working closely with the Partner, you will have direct involvement in building and developing the new office, including the teams, the culture and the practice development
A large part of the role will involve preparing proposals for new work, attending marketing events, developing personal contacts and identifying and developing opportunities with new and existing clients
You will be responsible for the audit strategy and setting budgets
Supporting the growth of the team, you will delegate appropriate work to more junior staff such as Managers and ensure deadlines and quality is met

What you'll need to succeed:

You will be ACA, ACCA or CA Qualified with post qualification experience
Significant experience of working with entrepreneurial, OMB, SME and AIM listed clients
A keen interest in business development and building strong relationships with both new and existing clients
Experience of working with technology clients would be beneficial but not essential
Ability to motivate and build a strong team of auditors
