AAT Grade 5 SCP 10-15 Pro-rata salary £19,046 - £20,867 (Full time Equivalent Salary £23,619 - £25,878)

Within Longspee Academy, we currently have the following vacancy at Longspee Secondary (Ensbury Avenue, Bournemouth, BH10 4HG): Learning Mentor.
Longspee Secondary is a Specialist Provision for Autistic young people, some of whom may have associated SEMH needs.

Happy, Safe, Progress to help ensure that our students can build and achieve a successful adult life.


We are seeking to appoint an experienced practitioner as a Learning Support Mentor to facilitate the delivery of academic learning alongside bespoke programmes to support the needs of all students.


Activities may include supporting student learning through in-class assistance, group work, 1:1 intervention and a range of closing the gap support for core, foundation or SEND need.


We offer our students a wide and varied curriculum experience, both within the school grounds and also the local area, and are always looking at enrichment options; so if you have skills, interests, or an area of knowledge that inspires you, we'd love to work with your enthusiasm to engage others.

Experience of working within nature (e.g. Forest School / Beach Teach / or Other) would be most excellent
