Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembly Tech

SPE are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Electrical Assembly Panel Wirer.

You will have high standards of work and great attention to detail, to join our friendly team working in Dunholme (LN2) where we manufacture a wide range of machinery for the surface preparation industry.

Core Hours:
Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM

Qualifications and Experience

Apprentice / NVQ Trained in Electrotechnical Discipline such as Panel Wiring / Electrical Assembly Technician or similar
Ability to read Electrical Drawings and Diagrams, offering suggestions for any improvements
Previous Experience of Assembling, Wiring, Installing and Commissioning Control Panels
Must have an allround Electrical Assembly background (Mechanical assembly advantageous)
Experience in wiring DC/AC Control (Single & 3 Phase)
Programming of Star Delta, Variable Speed Drives and Controllers
Support in Research and Development
Support customers with Technical & Troubleshooting support
Demonstrate positive attitude and behaviour towards Health & Safety and others
Ability to work to tight deadlines meeting production targets
To ensure the works are carried out in the most efficient and safe manner and capable of contributing to RAMS
A good team player and also be able to work well using own initiative. Taking instruction and guidance where required.
Good Communication Skills with an easy going personality
Be prepared to work overtime/flexible on hours as required
Have a sense of humour
Work to meet or exceed standards in the 6 Fundamentals of Manufacturing: Quality, Delivery, Effectiveness, Safety, Waste Elimination and Housekeeping.
Can Do Attitude
Expected to be punctual with excellent attendance.
