As MAS team manager the post holder will operationally manage the Memory Assessment Services (MAS) within a defined geographical area.

The post holder will ensure the comprehensive provision of a person-centred, cost effective, accessible, and responsive service is delivered to people living with cognitive changes and dementia, alongside their family and carers.


The post holder will support the Senior Nurse, and Directorate management team, with the implementation and development of policies and protocols to support the principles and values of a person-centred service.


The post holder will also support the implementation of Dementia Action Plan for Wales, including the Dementia Standards, Royal College of Psychiatry standards relevant to MAS, and other national initiatives aimed at improving and maintaining quality service provision.

Your role would enable well organised, safe and effective care that is recovery focussed. The care should be person centred with clearly identified clinical outcomes/ targets.

You would need to have significant experience of working with mental health services and have developed management skills that would be transferable to this role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
