£48,000 depending on experience

The opportunity
The Innovation Training Lead will be responsible for the development, management and delivery of Innovation Training within MBDA.


Innovation is a core value of MBDA and its people need to have an understanding of innovation, and have the skills and capabilities to innovate successfully.

This role will report to the Group Head of Creativity & Innovation Facilitation.

  • Develop an Innovation Training portfolio suitable for all employees.
  • Working with internal collaborators to understand their training needs, and knowledge gaps.
  • Working with internal innovation authorities and third parties to develop training courses selecting the most appropriate methods.
  • Collaborating closely with leadership to develop training plans.
  • Project handle and deliver training events (e.g. workshops, team activities, offsites, Innovation week)
  • Supervise the performance of training programmes and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Support the wider IFT team to deliver its activities effectively.

  • Knowledge of various training methods, including coaching, workshops, classroom training, mentoring & elearning.
  • The ability to facilitate and deliver training.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
