An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Admin function within the Acute Floor and specifically be responsible for the administration of the Reducing Admissions project.

The role is for 24 months, fixed term, 37.5 hours per week. The required hours of the post will be Monday - Friday 7.5 hours per day.


We are looking for an individual who will be highly motivated, organised and self-sufficient, with the ability to manage their own workload and be flexible and adaptable to fulfil the duties within the role.

The individual must also have the ability to work well under pressure, enjoy analysing data and performing general admin duties, and have the desire to provide a first class service.

The main purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Reducing Admissions team. Also to provide support to the medical secretaries/administrators and consultants in the Acute & Emergency Medicine Directorate.

The role will be based in Lionel Green, but there may need to be flexibility in working through the Directorate as service needs require.

An element of support may be required for the reception and ward clerk teams.
