ALS Inspection inspects, weighs, samples, analyses and reports on the quantity and quality of commodities to produce findings that can be used for final commercial settlement purposes.

Key purpose of position


Key purpose of position To provide administrative support to the Commercial Department, through handling of inspection and analysis quotations and general administration tasks.


Main duties will include but are not restricted to

  • Coordination and administration of quotations
  • Assisting with annual tenders
  • Coordination of customer visits to ALS Inspection UK Ltd's office and laboratory
  • General department administration tasks

Skills and competences

  • Proven track record of excellent customer service skills
  • You will have passion with working in a client facing environment
  • You will be an outstanding communicator, both written and verbally and have an ability to engage with international clients
  • You will be good at multitasking and time management
  • You will have great attention to details and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • A customer focussed individual.
  • Competence with standard Microsoft software packages, CRM program and databases.
  • Fluent Spanish or Mandarin speaking will be an advantage but is not essential
