What you will be doing


Our employee comms lead will be responsible for developing and activating an internal comms strategy that connects our people to the dentsu business strategy, supporting a high-performance culture, while overseeing a positive and engaging employee communications experience.


The role will manage senior stakeholders and build relationships across the UK&I business and global teams to deliver against our local market KPIs.

It will also be responsible for developing and owning a process that makes the IC team efficient, while providing playbooks and toolkits to support this.

The difference you will make

  • Owning and activating the dentsu UK&I employee communication strategy to connect people to the dentsu strategy and create a sense of belonging
  • Developing and writing comms for the UK&I CEO, managing the process and landing key messages in the right tone of voice
  • Ensuring corporate messaging ladders up to the strategic narrative and reflects our employee comms experience principles
  • Owning the UK employee comms calendar across all UK&I aligning with the events, PR, DE&I content calendars to ensure a joined up and engaging experience across all internal platforms
  • Leading a team of IC specialists, fostering a culture of growth and innovative problem solving and encouraging them to stretch themselves in a safe environment where we have each other's backs. Setting an example of integrity, integration and collaboration with the wider marketing and comms team.
  • Reporting and measure the effectiveness of key communications and channels
What you will bring

  • Experience of developing and delivering an employee engagement strategy and excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong people skills including line management, collaboration, and stakeholder management, and the ability to build trust and strong relationships in the business
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation within an internal communications function
  • An understanding of incident management communications

This is a permanent role with line management responsibilities. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements.
