Do you have experience in Trusts?

Nigel Wright a delighted to be partnering with a bespoke tax firm based in Newcastle, who are looking to bring in a Trust Advisor to their established team.


The Role
As a Trust Advisor, a typical day could include:

  • Looking after a portfolio of Trusts from a variety of clients.
  • Trust administration requirements including the completion of trust accounts and related tax returns.
  • Annual compliance meetings.
  • Preparation of a variety of different trustee documentation.
  • Liaising with beneficiaries where requires and collaborating with different fee earners around the business.
  • Assisting in managing private client matters.
  • Where required, advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients.
  • Assisting to develop new relationships in order to gain new business for the firm.

The Requirements and Process
To qualify for this role as a Trust Advisor, you should:

  • Have experience working in a similar role.
  • Be a qualified solicitor, CILEX, AAT, ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualified.
  • Proven client management skills.
  • Be confident working with technology.
  • Enjoy a fast paced environment.
  • Be a confident and professional communicator.
  • Be a good team player and enjoy working with others.
