We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Seasonal Retail Assistant in our busy home and gift store based in Armagh.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of our vibrant store during the exciting lead-up to Christmas.


Details:

  • Position: Seasonal Retail Assistant
  • Contract Duration: Average 5 months with possibility of being made permanent
Weekly Hours: 15 hours per week


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting shoppers with their queries and purchases.
  • Maintain a tidy and inviting store environment, ensuring shelves are wellstocked and organized.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently through the pointofsale system.
  • Assist with visual merchandising to create attractive displays and window arrangements.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:


  • Previous retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Friendly, approachable, and a team player.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and operate the POS system.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, especially during the busy Christmas season.
