Salary:
National - ranging from £40,600 - £45,100 and London from £44,900 - £50,100 per annum

The team/department


The Strategy department sits at the centre of the FCA and is responsible for informing the FCA's strategic thinking, its approach to corporate prioritisation and providing oversight of the implementation of the FCA's three-year strategy, monitoring and measuring progress against its strategic outcomes.


We are looking for a Strategy Coordination Associate to drive our strategic delivery by working closely with all teams across the Strategy department, providing vital support, organisation and coordination across key projects and initiatives.

What you will be doing (the role)


As an Associate you will engage across all teams within the Strategy department and stakeholders from across FCA business areas to coordinate and support preparation for workshops and key meetings and maintain progress updates and notes for record.

You will help to ensure project disciplines are applied across all deliverables and suggest ways to improve efficiency and continually improve outputs.

From time to time, with oversight from a Senior Associate, you will contribute to and draft key strategic reports and publications.

We support hybrid working which means you will be able to work from home up to 60% of the time over a month with the remainder of your time in one of our three office locations.

The skills and experience you will have

Minimum- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team on a project- Proven stakeholder management skills, able to build good working relationships across an organisation- Experience of organising a complex range of tasks, and monitoring progress

Essential- Strong and confident verbal and written communication skills, with a good eye for detail- Able to prioritise and forward plan a complex workload with competing demands- Strong organisational ability with sound judgement and decision-making skills- Ability to demonstrate personal accountability and a proactive working style- Ability to work collaboratively, effectively and flexibly as part of a team- IT competent, including ExCel, Word and Powerpoint
