Project Assistant, SOCOTEC, Coventry**To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Infrastructure division. SOCOTEC is the UK's largest independent construction materials testing division, delivering seven million tests a year to more than 5,000 clients either in our laboratories or on-site. SOCOTEC offers the widest range of testing, inspection and certification services in the UK. Our sampling and testing methods are based upon current British and European standards and are accredited by UKAS.

We're looking for an experienced Project Assistant to undertake the physical testing of concrete, soils, aggregates and bituminous mixtures within our laboratory.

The role involves significant physical activity including manual handling of samples up to 20kgs.

The role will also involve:

Answering incoming calls, taking messages and following through where required
Typing of laboratory & field testing reports with speed and accuracy
Assisting with Invoicing and credit control
Setting up new projects and client details onto in house database

Good IT skills knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
