Role:_

  • As part of our team, you will be part of helping patients feel good by providing clear advice.
  • To provide high quality patient care service as a
    Counter Assistant, you will work at the healthcare counter and shop, ensuring all customers/patients are well received and dealt with appropriately.
  • Additionally, you will be providing healthy lifestyle advice and health services to our patients through focused conversations, whilst giving clear and accurate answers.
  • This is often a fastpaced environment in which you will interact with many different people and you will be a core member of the pharmacy and healthcare team.
  • At this branch you will be working within a team of 6 people._

Your Duties:_

  • Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they leave your pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  • Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice in a Pharmacy.
  • Seeking opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to enhance patient care.
  • Delivering efficient shop operations and ensuring shop losses are minimised.

Qualifications and Skills:_

- _Experience of working as a Pharmacy Counter Assistant or equivalent._
- _Medicines Counter Assistant course completed - preferred._

  • Ability to build strong relationships with patients and your team and able to understand individual customer needs and tailor your support and advice appropriately.
  • Ability to advise patients with confidence and accuracy whilst remaining customer focused.
  • Aware of the commercial aims and objectives of the company.
  • Genuine passion for customer care and excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to deal with confidential information and follow set processes.
  • Team player: Liaising with, and following instructions from all senior employees.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail
You will be working 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday

£9.50 per hour
