Finance Business Partner to join our
Pensions and Savings Commercial Finance team.

The role
The role will report to the Lead Finance Business Partner in the team and will be responsible for managing the cost base for a number of areas within the fast growing Pension & Savings business, which is at the forefront of the growth ambitions for the Group

  • Challenge the business assumptions, and targets in budgets and plans to drive business performance in aligned business area.
  • Track revenue and cost performance for a business area and propose options and recommendations for corrective actions to drive business performance.
  • Make recommendations to senior business stakeholders on investment decisions to drive business unit performance.
  • Lead and take accountability for priority initiatives for business unit to improve strategic value.
  • Investigate and identify business value and business performance improvement opportunities to add value to the aligned business area.
  • Challenging senior stakeholders on business performance against plan.
  • Proposing corrective action to optimise business performance when there may be conflicting agendas.
  • Working to deliver value in an environment of increasing cost pressures.
  • Works autonomously to drive value generating opportunities in aligned business area.
  • Works in partnership with the business area senior leaders to design and deliver business plan.

What are we looking for?
You will be either ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified.

Experience working within pensions or life insurance.
