DegreeSix Recruitment are a Specialist Consultancy that provide temporary staffing solutions to Adult's and Children's Residential services throughout the UK.
We are now working with a Therapeutic Children's service based in West Sussex who are in need of both temporary and permanent assistance for their staffing teams, this is for the two homes that they currently have and also their new home that they are due to be opening up in the next few months.
This Client is actually recognised and accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatry for the approach that they take with the young people they support.
They pride themselves on being able to identify and help the childrent to understand how their behaviour and anxiety manifest due to the Traumatic experience and how to best process and work through it.
Duties and responsibilities of a Support Worker -
- Maintaining a safe, clean and positive living environment for the children
- Following correct safeguarding practices
- Participating in a variety of fun activities in and outside of the home
- Providing personal, domestic and emotional support

Ideally you'll have the following:
- Minimum of 3 months UK based Social Care experience (Desirable)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Online update service (Desirable)
- Full Driving Licence (Desirable)

Salary:
£9.50-£10.50 per hour
