An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Surgical Care Practitioner workforce within the Operating Department at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.

An innovative and progressive environment that will support the post holders development and clinical skills.

They will provide expert assistance to the Consultant surgeon and Specialist registrars during adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including specialist procedures such as aortic surgery, mínimally invasive mitral valve surgery, robotic surgery and VAT lobectomy.

The post holder will have the opportunity to
- participate in all aspects of peri-operative care and perform these duties with a high degree of clinical skills and knowledge in order to achieve excellent, compassionate and safe patient care throughout their surgical pathway within the areas of the Operating department, Critical Care and the Cardiothoracic Wards.
