Associate - Data Analytics


What is the opportunity?


Reporting to the Head of Data Analytics you will work closely with business and technology teams across Wealth Management Europe (WME) to support the ongoing maintenance of the Data Analytics infrastructure and with the delivery of analytical insights to business.

What will you do?

  • Support the design, development and ongoing maintenance of the scalable Data Analytics data infrastructure using the Microsoft SQL technology stack to serve as the foundational layer for analytics and insights, support and guide team on technical design and implementations
  • Identify, source, stage and model data using industry standard technologies and established development and operational practices as part of the endtoend data lifecycle
  • Work with the business and senior team members to identify and source data points across core platforms and processes for inclusion within the Data Analytics data repository
  • Ability to structure large disparate data sets to serve multiple functions and tailor the results for specific audiences, supporting the creation of model development to support investigation and analysis
  • Ability to create new and modify existing T-SQL scripts, stored procedures and SSIS packages to support new and regular reporting requirements
  • Research, explore and understand business problems and reporting requirements and support in the design, development and deployment of solutions and dashboards, enabling enduser selfservice, incorporating drilldown functionality
  • Provide data driven and thought provoking insights to drive informed decisionmaking, supporting the transfer of knowledge to stakeholders to use its data more effectively
  • Adhere to the established DevOps's process to ensure that new or changes to existing source code or DB structure follow the agreed development and release processes and that all productionised code is adequately documented and reviewed

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Experience with MS SQL Server, Data Warehousing techniques, solutions and methodologies
  • Good understanding of relational database principals
  • Good knowledge of SQL, working with ETL's and SSIS packages
  • Data management analyst with ability to mine and visualize data
  • Good understanding of datasets, data warehouses /modelling, database design and programming

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with GitHub
  • Knowledge of Agile project management principles
