Location: 7 Leopold Street Sheffield, S1 2GZ. Flexibility to work from home with regular travel to your region.

  • Reporting to the Director of Volunteer Experience, and working in daytoday partnership with a senior regional volunteer leader, you'll develop a compelling vision and strategy to build a thriving community first aid movement across your region._

About You
In this role, you'll leverage your experience collaborating with volunteer groups to empower them and achieve our shared goals. You'll be responsible for organising and leading engaging workshops and community sessions, both online and in-person.

About The Role


Our new strategy orientates the whole charity around our vision for community first aid - providing it, teaching it and raising awareness of it.

You'll support volunteers from across St John to be at the centre of this work, coming together locally to serve their communities.


Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Attracting, recruiting, training and engaging volunteers
  • Developing a compelling community education programme to build the public's first
- aid skills

  • Empowering young people locally by providing training and development opportunities
  • Drawing supporters and donors to our cause with compelling local fundraising campaigns
  • Build awareness of our activities amongst the public, partner agencies and senior volunteers and stakeholders
  • Ensure St John has an impact in the communities that need it most through practices funded by our principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.
