Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Derby

Salary up to £30,000 (+company benefits)

My client are an established, Chartered Architectural Practice based in Derby, who have an excellent new opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This incredibly successful team work on hospitality, public sector and science and technology projects throughout the UK, across all RIBA stages.

They also have a director led focus so you will get excellent support towards Chartership, working alongside talented and experienced individuals.

Revit experience is highly advantageous, but training will be provided if required.

Requirements for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:

A minimum of 1 years' experience in a UK based architectural practice
Good working knowledge of Revit is beneficial
Experience of conducting measured building surveys
Good knowledge of planning policies and building regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
UK Driving Licence with access to own transport

Typical duties of this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:

Carrying out onsite measured building surveys
Drawing existing & proposed architectural drawings
Perform original design work according to a client brief
Producing building regulation drawings
Liaising with clients, planning officers and building control
Coordinating with consultants (planning consultants/structural engineers/etc).

Commutable locations:

Chesterfield, Mansfield, Nottingham, Loughborough and Leicester.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
