MIG Welder Needed for Trailer Manufacturing Company in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent


Job Summary:


Our client who is a trailer manufacturing company in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent is seeking experienced MIG Welders to join their team.

As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of metal components for trailers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and precision.


Key Responsibilities:


  • MIG weld metal components for trailers using welding machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal components accurately.
  • Ensure all welding work is performed according to safety and quality standards.
  • Inspect and test welded components to detect any defects or imperfections and carry out any necessary repairs or modifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are always in good working condition.

Requirements:


  • At least 2 years of experience in MIG welding.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of quality and precision.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

Salary:


We offer a competitive salary range of £11 to £15.96 per hour, depending on experience and whether you work on the day or night shift.


Working Hours:


  • Days: Monday
  • Thursday 07:30 17:00 / Friday 07:30 14:4
  • Nights: Monday
  • Thursday 18:00 06:00.

Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

£11.00-£15.96 per hour
