Housing Support Worker - Carr Beck

Hours: 37 hours per week

£23,937.68 per annum

Do you want to work in a team that is committed to supporting Women who are alcohol dependent and at risk of homelessness, in a trauma-informed and restorative way?

Carr Beck is a 6-bed accommodation-based service providing 24 hour intensive specialist support for alcohol dependent females aged 16 or over, using a planned approach to reducing alcohol intake.

As a Housing Support Worker, you will be:

Part of a small team of housing support workers that assists vulnerable women in a 24/7 supported accommodation environment.
Supporting women to manage their alcohol use and develop their independent living skills.
Responsible for carrying out housing management tasks in order to prepare and maintain the accommodation.

We would like to hear from you if:

You have experience of working effectively with vulnerable women with complex needs.
You have an understanding of housing support and the issues faced by homeless women.
You have the ability to engage with the women living in the service
You are able to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis including days, evenings, weekends and banak holidays.
