Housing Support Worker - Carr Beck

Hours: 37 hours per week


Salary:
£23,937.68 per annum

Leeds

Do you want to work in a team that is committed to supporting Women who are alcohol dependent and at risk of homelessness, in a trauma-informed and restorative way?


Carr Beck is a 6-bed accommodation-based service providing 24 hour intensive specialist support for alcohol dependent females aged 16 or over, using a planned approach to reducing alcohol intake.


As a Housing Support Worker, you will be:

  • Part of a small team of housing support workers that assists vulnerable women in a 24/7 supported accommodation environment.
  • Supporting women to manage their alcohol use and develop their independent living skills.
  • Responsible for carrying out housing management tasks in order to prepare and maintain the accommodation.

We would like to hear from you if:

  • You have experience of working effectively with vulnerable women with complex needs.
  • You have an understanding of housing support and the issues faced by homeless women.
  • You have the ability to engage with the women living in the service
  • You are able to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis including days, evenings, weekends and banak holidays.
