As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will be part of the Advanced Manufacturing Group (AMG) Finance Team.

The primary focus of your role will be to support the financial management of AMRC research projects from project setup, claims, audit, and closure.

In this role, you will provide sound financial support to technology groups, helping them ensure that their external research funding achieves the research objectives specified by the sponsor's terms and conditions.

You will also contribute towards the month end activities performed at the AMRC.


You will:


  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure you can communicate with sponsors and AMRC staff at all levels.
  • Have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Have the ability to work proactively using own initiative and with minimum supervision.
  • Be able to manage and organise your own resources in order to meet multiple deadlines.
As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will be working as part of the AMG Finance team.
